What A Wonderful Weekend!

This weekend was fabulous! I couldn't have imagined a happier time as a family ;c) We enjoyed good food, great shows, fantastic walks, great family time and amazing shopping extravaganzas! It was fun-filled with memories I wish cherish forever ;c) Thank you for being outstanding little beings that I love more than anything in the world! * I love your Daddy too*
I absolutely love editing pictures of your smiling faces! I get to study every pixel and appreciate everything I have.... You two are truly amazing!
Lately we have been eating like "Rockstars" and having the most delicious family meals! Dad even enjoyed my vegetarian nachos and herb crusted tofu with mushrooms marsala! YAY!!
 ---------------
Sunday I made home-fries for breakfast and we all ate together ;c) I just love watching my boys...
YUMMERS! Honestly you both were more interested in dipping the pieces into the ketchup and licking it off... haha.. It was adorable!
Let it be stated that taking  the two of you anywhere is spectacle... we get the "Are they twins?", "You must have your hands full!" and "Double trouble, eh?"...We try to be as pleasant as possible, but really we just want to get our groceries and get out ;c) Of course this woman in Chuck's advised us to take you to a twin casting call... Ya'll are just so dang cute!
After a couple of stores and a little snack, it was time for your mornin' nappy poo... While you slept, we ventured over to PDX in order to see the Occupy Portland camp site! It is unbelievable...
After coming back for lunch (pizza), we headed out on a walk to Ross for a few new household items and to search for Halloween costumes...
I admit I was smitten by the idea taking a stroll with my family on this beautiful Fall day!
While on our adventure I captured some precious moments we will never again have back ;c) We made a PERFECT purchase (amongst others).. NEW pillows... I cannot tell you how amazing it felt or how much of a transformation new pillows made the bedroom! The four of us had a fabulous evening watching the telly and crashing out!
Of course you had a bath beforehand ;c) I adore these moments... So happy! Cash, I would have to say you were a merman in a past life ;c)

I had a marvelous weekend... I look forward to moving into a house soon and enjoying the holidays in a home with my loves <3

I love you both equally and more than anything!

ps. Here is a zombie-fied family pictorial-

Techy Twins

Being that I am almost 22 years older than you both, much has changed since I was your age... For example we did not have Tablets/iPads, mp3 players, digital cameras, hybrids, HD and pretty much all the technology you are growing up around... I am so impressed with you ability to just pick up these touch screens and know how to use them! Even on the laptops you touch the screen instead of the keys (you'd rather pick them off). Besides the App that makes bubbles pop, the two of you also love the one with pictures you touch and it makes the sound! I love how smart you both are... SO, I think we need to get you these...

It has an E-reader, music player, games, photos, art studio, coloring... everything you would need! It does say the recommended age is 4-10, but I think they would be great Christmas gifts!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some randoms from the last couple days ;c)
 Empty cabinets+Cash+Bentley=FUN!
Going somewhere with those keys son?!

Spaghetti? NOM NOM NOM!
Cash and Bentley, you guys crack me up! The two of you have the BEST time in life, always smiling! Thank you for picking me to be your MOM!

I love you both equally and more than anything!

Roloff Farm

I have been obsessed with going to Roloff Farm since I first started watching Little People Big World. Since I used to work at Washington Square Mall I saw Amy (the mom) a few times but never the rest of the family... Since I am now a Mother of Multiples I have a new appreciation for Amy, she also has twin boys, CHAMPION! Anyways we all went out to their farm to get pumpkins and enjoy the beautiful day!
They had some tasty food, petting zoo, exotic animals, pumpkin house, bouncy castles, pony rides, wagon tours and of course a pumpkin patch!

Gosh we had a blast! It was great to watch you run around and enjoy yourselves! Next year we will take a wagon tour when you can sit still ;c)
I love you both equally and more than anything!

Occupy PDX

This weekend was extremely memorable! Saturday after looking at a house to move into, the four of us went down to Esther Short Park to meet up for the Occupy rally. Oh and of course to enjoy Farmer's Market.
Let be briefly explain WHY we went and what is currently happening world wide...
WE ARE THE 99%! It is tragic this is happening... We no longer have a middle-class in our society. The gap between the rich and the rest of us is unbelievable, everyone seems to be struggling to make ends meet and keep up with the cost of living...
We met up with  the Grandmother, Grandpa Jon and Uncle Maddox... My mom made this great sign WHAT IF? So many questions can be prefaced with 'what if"... What if we cannot recover from this recession? What if students are no longer able to take out loans for education? What if the cost of living continues to increase? What if we self implode?!

"Occupy Wall Street is a people-powered movement that began on September 17, 2011 in Liberty Square in Manhattan’s Financial District, and has spread to over 100 cities in the United States and actions in over 1,500 cities globally. #OWS is fighting back against the corrosive power of major banks and multinational corporations over the democratic process, and the role of Wall Street in creating an economic collapse that has caused the greatest recession in generations. The movement is inspired by popular uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia, and aims to expose how the richest 1% of people are writing the rules of an unfair global economy that is foreclosing on our future."

We didn't march but the two of you managed to find an abandoned sign and joined in ;c) We also enjoyed some yummy food from Farmer's Market. I was so pumped up that I wanted to go to Portland to see the efforts of Occupy PDX.

While we were there the Vietnamese Community of Oregon showed up for their Rally... It was intense! I am so glad we went ;c)

I love you both equally and more than anything!

Saturday night your Dad and I went out on a date to the Rock pizza! We had a fantastic time!
Yes... that bucket was my DRINK! Long island baby! YUMMM! We also had these delicious jello shots in syringes! The food was fantastic and our server was phenomenal! GREAT DATE! Thank you to Pink, GG-Pa, Ginger and Drew for watching you while we went out!

Picture Perfect Twinners

I am so thankful for this time in my life, I get to be with the two of you little men a majority of the time! Last night I realized I am totally guilty of cuddling you both when we sleep.. It is more like I am on the bottom and you two sprawl yourselves on me and one another ;c) I just love love love your soft skin and little warm bodies next to me... who cares what other people think... haha... (Not everyone almost dies during delivery)

Today while outside playing I distracted you long enough from the sandbox to take some CUTE pictures! I know everyone thinks they have the cutest babies everrrrr... BUT honestly,  you two are certainly in the top 1% of contagious smiles and adorableness! I am so LUCKY!
*Cash Ryland*

* Bentley Jax*

Super cute right?!? I couldn't have posed you better myself! PERFECT!

Here is your handsome Uncle Jack... He thought he was making silly faces and I caught this perfect Fall pic of him ;c) Now we just need to get Uncle Maddox to sit still on the bench...

Here are some other cute face pictures taken today...
Cash, you will climb anything and everything. I try not to worry and focus on your amazing sense of balance.. Maybe I should get you a bike/trike soon!  I know, the pink flower AGAIN... I just cannot believe how many blossoms are coming off this one stem!
Bentley you were on the wild side today! I guess Cash is rubbin' off on ya ;c)

I love you both equally and more than anything!

Fall Photo Shoot

Today I saw a brief  moment of sun shining through the trees... I quickly put together a festive Fall scene and snapped a few shots before the cloud cover and rain returned...
I think they turned out quite well if I do say so myself... Although the credit all goes to you guys and your handsome little faces!
Of course it was impossible to get you both to look at me and smile while sitting still...This was the best I could do...haha..
Cash and Bentley, I love you both equally and more than anything!

Rain Babies

I've lived in a few different states over the years.. Grew up in California, middle school/ high school in the NW, moved to Florida, Indiana for a year, a couple months in Pennsylvania... But I must admit I love Washington and Oregon! Doesn't get too hot or too cold... The threat of a tornado is slim as well as a devastating earthquake, volcano or hurricane... The only thing to worry about is getting wet from all the rain that makes this place so lush and GREEN! Yes its a drag when the back of my jeans are soaking wet or my iron straight hair becomes wavy and frizzy.... BUT I think it is a small price to pay for mild weather.. I am a fan of rain, it makes everything smell fresh, look clean and is great to listen to while falling asleep at night!
Even slimy slugs, yucky spider webs and creepy lawn gnomes appear beautiful in the rain...
When I was a little girl my mom used to read this story to me called Rain Babies... I have it for you when you get a little older ;c)

Okay okay you get that I loveee the rain... Now I am passing on that love on to you ;c) I've taken you outside a few times during the last week to enjoy the FUN of a fresh rain! hehe
Wet sand seems to entertain you the most... I know in the future you will think i'm a terrible parent but here is a video of you drinking sand water (Pink look away)... I TRIED to get you to stop but you thought it was hilarious and kept doing it... Besides, it builds up your immunities right?? ;c)

Here are a few more pictures from outside...
You both get a kick out of the wind! You start smiling and looking up, wondering where it is all coming from... ADORABLE!
Yes... I think this unkown pink flower is beautiful and photographed it again... as well as capturing tiny drops of rain on petals/leaves... Pretttty!
 ---------------------------------------
Over the weekend we had mucho fun as always ;c) Below are a few highlights caught on camera...
Your Dad got you some black hoodies and we became a trio ;c)
We watched old school VHS', played with Grandmother, had a photo shoot and of course wrestled with your uncles!
We received some great Halloween clothes from your gandma Rhonda... Since i'm such a huge fan of the holiday I couldn't resist the urge to take your picture..
So scary but still so cute!
I love you both equally and more than anything!

ps- Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple passed away last week... I'm sure you will learn about him in school ;c) Here is a picture of you two in his famous black turtle neck look...
