Friends are AWESOME!

As the weather warms up this momma of yours if slowly coming out of the house and reaching out to some old friends from high school (like C-Lo)... I like to joke about being slightly agoraphobic, but I am not a fan of leaving the house with just you two in the rain... Can you say hassle? haha
Now that we have the space and nicer weather it is time to get friendly! I had my old best friend Kayla over with her almost 4 year old son Nathan... She is also 20 weeks pregnant with a baby girl named Madison Renee ;c) The last time I saw her she was 8 months pregnant with Nathan! Crazy how the years fly by... Luckily we have facebook and can stay current with the many people we have met over the years...
Court & Willy came by to say hi and I quickly ran and grabbed the tripod to take a picture of all of us! They were also very close friends back in the day...
Woo Hoo mini reunion!
It was over 80 degrees but perfect in the shade of the giant walnut trees in the backyard! Oh, and yes you spend most of the day naked but you are potty training and I got prior approval ;c)
The funniest moment was when Nathan says "They have triangle penises..."
All three of us Moms were cracking up!

It was lovely to spend the day catching up and enjoying the perfect weather with our wonderful little kiddos! You had a blast in the water and Nathan learned to Wii dance... adorable!!!
Friends are awesome!

Cash & Bentz, I love you both equally and more than anything!

ps-Your Dad and I made the decision not to circumcise you... Among the many reasons, it is your penis and who are we to cut part of it off?! If we were religious or took a bath once a month without access to modern medicine, I would see validity... BUT really, if someone came out and said "I cut off part of my newborn babies genitals..." people would be like WTF?! If anyone gives you grief tell them you still have the choice and for the time being you would like 100% feeling in all your nerve endings...
I'll leave it at that for now...
(TMI MOM)
I win because I am the mother... muhahaha (evil laugh)...

Mini Family Adventure...

It was nice to get out and have a little bit of family fun.... We went across the bridge to Best Buy to get Just Dance 3 FINALLY! Oh and purchased a new controller which happens to be hot pink! We also picked up Family Game Night 4 ;c) Grabbed some pizza, hit up a consignment store for kiddos (picked up swim outfits/ mini rakes) and headed home to enjoy the sunshine!
WOO HOO!
We were pumped to finally dance duets and enjoy a new song selection.... However the Wii was not ejecting the current Just Dance 2 (Guess it has been a while since I change it?)...
Your Dad did some research and decided to dismantle the system and in the process purposefully broke off a piece of plastic to "fix" the issue... As predicted, the Wii was not fixed...
You enjoyed some popsicle and my interpretive dancing to the radio while your pops was busy...
Luckily we have the technology to find a used system near by for a lower cost ;c) Not to mention your father's "hustle'n" skills...  So we did end up dancing.. until 4:30am! It was a great day.... but we were uber tired getting up in the morning! haha

I am so glad summer is finally deciding to come 'round these parts!
I love you both equally and more than anything!

Father's Day Weekend Picture Extravaganza!

We had gorgeous weather this weekend! It is about time.....
Here is how we spent our days...
---Friday---
Visited Will & C-Lo during another one of their garage sales... I am so impressed with her drive to de-clutter.... I am always trying to convince her to keep things! haha
I do get to have my pick before they take everything to a donation center... I am sure your Dad just lovessss all the new craft project pieces...haha
I brought you guys to the mall with me to pick up my new glasses... You were angels and were rewarded with Brobee hats! Okay, I would have purchased them regardless because they are CUTEEE! But it was nice to window shop with content kiddos ;c) When we got home you decided to change/play dress-up... You are some handsome looking boys with beautiful eye-color that is____? Well your Dad and I can't figure it out, they change and are blue/green/grey...
Of course we went back to play with Will  after nap time... I attempted to remove your sweater vests but you were not having it... So, you look liked like 90s kids ;c)
Capes were made for you rambunctious twinners after a popsicle... Somehow you put back on the striped shirts after the vests? Gypsies...
----Saturday---
Outside for a majority of the day soaking up the sun and playing in the water... It was adorable watching you use teamwork to fill up cups from the hose...
I was admiring the clouds and took a great picture of a lady bug on a tree leaf (wayyy up high!)
My camera rocks!
Look at the different colors and shapes of the clouds... freaking cool!
---Sunday---
Father's day we gave Dad (Josh) some cards, cooked a delicious brunch of hashbrowns, over-easy eggs (I made us scrambled), turkey bacon and toast... yummm! Dinner we had WINGS!
"You know we have wings like four times a week.... I could eat them everyday!"- Josh
I took a picture of my broken glasses with duct tape... The picture on the right is with my new black frames! We had a nice spur of the moment visit from our friend Sheryl! I had to put on my similar earthy shirt (just a different color with longer sleeves) and pose... haha

It was a very enjoyable weekend... Now it is Monday and raining again...* Thumbs down*

I love you Cash Ryland & Bentley Jax, equally and more than anything!

A bit of this and that...

Oh happy boys! I just can't stop playing with you long enough to blog about it (okay, that might be an excuse...) We have been enjoying some beautiful weather mixed with a little hail and flooding...
Highlights:
1. Strapping foam shields on your back like little ninja turtles...
2. Playing with giant sticks while watching the construction on the road...
3. Modeling Brobee shrits & eating strawberries...
4. Finally fitting into your fedoras... and sporting them in the nude with shoes, CUTE!
5. Had a doctors appointment...
-Cash: Weight- 24lbs Height- 31.5in
-Bentley: Weight- 22lbs Height- 30.5in
** You are both below the 5th percentile in each category... Your development is astounding, you guys are just small ;c)
6. Dad blew bubbles for you to pop...
7. The sunsets were beautiful... every time the wind blows you get super excited and look up into the sky
8. My glasses broken in two and were held with duct tape for a few days ;c) On a positive note I got two new pairs (i'll take pictures when I get the second pair)..

That's all for now folks...

Great Grandparents Visit & Week Recap

I think I will be realistic and just tell you that I will probably only blog once a week... haha...

SO what did we do this week or so?! We went across the street for a graduation party with yummy food and delicious red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting...  The two of you ate more than I could count (between your Dad and I...)...
It is always great to see Willy... You were even sharing your treats with him... I think "you" in the picture is Cash but I could be wrong... haha...
I managed to snag a new family picture after the party! Your MOM has been dancing like a maniac and making healthier food choices... However at night, portion control is hard with your Dad's cooking! It has only been a couple of weeks but I can feel the difference already...
Plus you two like to get controllers and pretend to dance with me... it is darling... I snagged a picture but you have on an interesting choice of outfit... 'To each his own..' haha
*BTW,I will love you two no matter what you decided to wear in the future, but make sure you put on a shirt in public... ;c)
We did lots of arts and crafts projects.... Below is Bentley concentrating on tiny little drawings, cuteeeee!
The great grandparents came to visit and bring gifts... At first you were a little uncomfortable but you warmed up soon after ;c)
(As you can see in Cash's face in the first picture... cracks me up...)
It was great to see them and we thank them for the soft soccer balls, cars,  shirts and bubble sets! Now we need sunshine so we can play outside...

I think know I have many more random pictures and I will have to edit them during your nap tomorrow ;c)

I love you both equally and more than anything!!!

PAINT PAINT PAINT!

What a week! We have been doing LOTS of art projects and playing outside (weather permitting)... I finally have Photoshop for Dummies and PROMISE to work on posting more...
Above is a collection of the fun and randomness... Dad bought me a couple of frames to be crafty with ;c) I sanded and painted... and sanded and painted.... Finally they are complete and on the wall! Whew
The sky is so beautiful!
Oh, I got you some new swim shorts with skulls and rocker type stuff... even has a bit of purple (obviously my favorite color)...
Look at those cute little butts! *More clouds from another evening... prettttty*
I am so glad we have a backyard for you to run around and play! It is just darling to watch you in the water, climbing around the deck and laughin' your little bums silly!
I painted some purple tulips for C-Lo's birthday... Not bad for my first attempt at flowers... Must be in my blood...  (Your Great Grandmother Pink is a pro at flowers and watercolor in general... and of course Grandmother Michelle is an artist as well.... ) ;c)
Oh and I did promise a memorial day craft... I stole the idea for hand-print flags from C-Lo (thanks!)...  It didn't turn out that well but you had a blast, so I consider that a win! **
Much more fun to freehand and be creative.... RED,WHITE & BLUE craft, check!

**I thought I would throw in a little picture of you sleeping... I don't have many and it is pure joy to have you cuddle up on each side of me... Even more precious, waking up to your kisses every morning! I have some sweet little boys!

I love you Cash Ryland & Bentley Jax!
