Visiting with Pink and Mother's Day 2013

I feel blessed to have so much family in the area to call for spontaneous gatherings. (Although I do wish I had a teleporter of sorts so I could see my brother Keaton and my Dad at anytime... Video chatting just is not quite the same...)
This is also wonderful for you little C & B, you have the opportunity to be loved by so many!

Checking out the sights on the Columbia River with Pink
Playing a little music...
Stopping to smell the flowers

My perfect Mother's Day picture with my sweet little boys
Pink looking more like my mom than a grandmother or GREAT grandmother to Cash and Bentz.
My beautiful sister mommy and a glimpse at my future face!
Playing 'carry the child' with Uncle Jack, Maddox and cousin Drew.
(The pet rocks from a while back, paper roses and pipe-cleaner insects)
Mother's Day 2013 with my Mom, Pink Grandmother and Aunt Ginger

It was a great to get everyone together to exchange gifts and enjoy each others company.

I love my family and I love you two little men equally and more than anything!!

Lewisville Park

A new bill or law has been passed regarding the fees to enter parks here in the state of Washington... and the verdict is elimination! woo hoo!
We have been four times in the last month or so to this specific park/river and it is awesome!
It was great to see Kayla and her little precious Madison.
I have this feeling we will be frequenting this place a few more times before the end of summer!

MAY DAY

One of our new favorite places to frequent is the fountains down town, it is precious to watch you run through the water with giant grins on your face!
Painting some pet rocks for a future gift... shhhh!
I am beyond proud that you two love art as much as I do! It is one of your favorite words and signs!
I also adore the fact that you now put your arm around one another and say "friend" while you put your head on the other shoulder...
You have always enjoyed me taking your picture, now you love taking your own with the front facing camera ..
Since we had such wonderful weather it only follows that we would need to build a fire and enjoy some s'mores! yum yum yum!

Goodbye April

Officially done with the hiatus (i think i've said that before) of this blog since I find myself having a harder time recalling my memories as the boys continue to get older and when I need to plan for how many people were at the birthday party last year... (Good thing we didn't plan for 80-100 this year right Josh?! haha). I was starting to feel like the last two months have gone by more quickly than normal and with fewer special moments than usual.... THANK GOD for instagram! I can now cheat my way into remember specifics and document them on the blog to ultimately make myself feel... For now and for the future when I want/need to look back on the good ol' days.

I will attempt to break these up into a few blogs so it does not become picture overload like I tend to do haha

Spring this year was absolutely gorgeous at times... it truely felt like summer and we even scored a tan (which has faded)
Cash and Bentley love having Willy across the street, they were all giggling while C-Lo held the hose, such a precious moment!
This is by far the best water face of the day caught on camera!
We all know I just can't resist little babies, especially wee girls that I can buy pink and purple for... This little angel face is Leona and I had the pleasure of buying her preemie sizes.... It brought tears to my eyes remembering when I left the hospital without my babies and headed to Toys R Us with my mom to find some clothes to fit their tiny bodies.... Luckily Leona was healthy and able to go home with her Mommy with no complications.

April was full of beautiful weather and lots of smiles!

Josh's Parents Visit & Tulip Festival

For the last few days we have had the pleasure of having your Grandparents from your Dad's side visit! We had quite the time with everyone...
Here is a picture recap of our adventures...

- Downtown library to explore and check out a few books
-Brickhouse for yummy fried foods
-Park to burn off more energy
- Tulip festival in Woodland was phenomenal ! It was like a dream... beautiful flowers surrounding me on all sides created a nice (short lived) moment of serenity and tranquility...
- Ventured to another park to show off your mad running skills (by the way, we are totally putting you into soccer when you turn 3 )
- (not pictured) Mommy and Daddy were able to go out for a few hours of more overdue adult time while you were happily watched by your Gamma, Papa and Aunt Lo Lo enjoying some delicious tacos!

We certainly look forward to their next visit! Maybe we will go visit the ranch in Arkansas ;c)

I love you both equally and more than anything!
