Halloween/ First 2 Weeks of November 2012

Cash and Bentley, my most precious gifts, I cannot believe how much you grow each and every day! In the morning I swear you are bigger, brighter and becoming the best little boys I could ever ask for...
For halloween you were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum from Alice in Wonderland and I was your Cheshire cat ;c) Mommy made all of our costumes from scratch... well, a few items from the thrift store, a bit of ribbon, hot glue and iorn on sticky-stuff and voila!

We visited you Grandmother and helped to hand out candy due to your father being out of town... Next year we will go trick-or-treating, promise!
I wonder what we should be next year?! Hmmmm...
With winter in the air it was nice to take a stroll on the river before we met your Great Grandmother aka Pink at Beaches! You two were not easy to manage (hence the lack of pictures) but hey, we did it and you had a visit to the treasure chest to pick out a toy...
Along with the weather change you two have had a bit of a cough.... Which is why I went to go visit new baby Madison Renee by myself just hours after the little doll was born... I just need to edit pictures but my computer crashed :c(

Congratulations to Kayla but trust me guys, I will not be having a little sister/brother for you.. sorry ;c)
It was amazing to think that you two were not this "big" until you were several weeks old... It goes by so incredibly fast I can't believe it! You two can now put two words together, "help please", follow directions, use sign langauge, are extremely independent-you can pour your own juice and screw on/off the lids, use knives to cut soft items in half (with supervision), tell ME to help clean your room, want to cook and wash dishes, sweep (into dust pan team work style), retrieve bottles of water for your mom...hahaha.... I could go on and on about the amazing things you do every day to make me proud to be your mother.

OoOo and your mommy cut her hair and is still on the skinny track of life! YAY for eating healthy and excercise! Buying a size 2 and size 0 was exhilerating! Granted I am conviced Old Navy's sizes run big but whatever, it is a smart marking ploy...

I love you both equally and more than anything! As I write this while making dinner you two are crashed out on the couch from too much reading ;c)

Hugs and loves little boys <3

Alderbrook Pumpkin Patch

October! Woo hoo Halloween! I've started our Wonderland costumes, put up a few decorations and today we visited a pumpkin patch at Alderbrook!

My dear friend Travis of 10 years ventured out with us... Wait, 10 years? How old am I?!

We arrived to find 'Open' signs but not a single person... Eventually we were tracked down to pay and hitched a train/tractor ride! Cash you were loving it! Bentz, not your thing... haha
You two explored a tiny wooden playhouse, swings, pumpkins....
 ANIMALS!
The sign told us to come on in and of course we couldn't resist the cute creatures...Well, Travis couldn't... I could have probably done without but it was sweet to watch you warm up to the animals...
Further down the trail we spotted the pirate ship and labyrinth/maze! For a while you attempted to hands and  it was priceless! Until you fell up the stairs... luckily no tears were shed during our visit.

After our little adventure we headed to Red Robin where Trav treated us to lunch... I may or may not of had a margarita after Bentley's screaming episode...

It was a fantastic day and we are thankful to Travis for being a trooper!

I love you both equally and more than anything!

Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge

Last weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the Wild Life Refuge in Ridgefield with my dear friend Rob. We have been lucky to have nice weather into October...(and honestly it is nice to see/smell rain....)

However last weekend we soaked up the last few days of sun...
We explored a plank house made of cedar, spotted a few ducks, a blue herring and hiked through the forest...
Although poison oak WAS spotted, none of us had contact or a mysterious reaction... whew!
It was darling to see the excitement on your faces while you explored your surroundings... Cash, you were all about collecting acorns in your pocket... B, you liked running ahead bouncing your little noggin...
It was certainly a team effort to watch after you both and push the stroller, which got a flat tire from a thorn (we didn't notice until we were packing up the car)...
THANK YOU ROB!
After our trek we headed to a park to enjoy a picnic...
I sure am lucky to have such cute kiddos! Hearing you laugh and run wild certainly makes it all the two-year-old tantrums worthwhile ;c)
At some point the camera got turned to 'M' mode (while I was letting you take assisted pictures) and the photos came out extremely dark... But if you look close enough you can see your open mouth grins... I must also comment on your amazing balance skills, you did great on the "big-kid" swings! Not to mention that every time you fall down you just get right back up,  literally dust your hands off and continue moving...

"We had a great day, it was a super way to spend some time together... "- Fresh Beat Band

I love you equally and more than anything!
XOXO

September Events

This last month has been full of healthy eating, abstaining from alcohol and LOTS of  gym time! I am excited to see the outcome of our positive life changes! I love you two more than anything and I want to be around for as long as I can while setting a positive example...
I don't know how it happened but time has flown by and I now have two little boys! Full of personality, independence and extremely strong willed! Good thing you are cute as buttons and I don't believe in spanking or anything of the sort...
Instead I just have to laugh and take a picture of your new discoveries...
I am fortunate that you two like to clean up your own messes and most of the time alert me if they other is up  to something...
I have been avoiding cutting your hair because I just love your little curls!
However it was obvious in this picture from the other day that you were in serious need of a trimming...
*Cash signing "Please"* Looking like a little old man with a comb-over....

As of recently you two have become very interactive with one another.. well in a more that cause/effect sort of way ;c)
In the picture above Bentz blurry hand appears to be demonstrating magic!

Cash just acting like his Daddy...
Enjoying the last weeks of nice weather before the rain comes! Although I must admit I look forward to fall...
Black-eyed Bentley Jax... I truly have no idea how you got that or most of the little bumps and bruises... You two like to play rough ;c)
Oh yes, back to your long locks... I cut them off...
It was not an easy task (you did not sit still at all...) but I figured better me than a total stranger...Cash you need a bit more blending on the sides due to your thickness... But we were in a hurry to get to two events...
Here are your little blonde ponytails saved in bags...
Curiously Bentley's is longer... I don't understand that one...???
--------------------------------------------
We attended Kayla's baby shower for little Madison who will be joining the world in November!
It was a delightful party and it was great to have all the kiddos running around!
Yes I made a pink and zebra tutu with matching pacifier holder with pearls ;c)
She received so many adorable gifts from loving friends and family!
I am so excited to meet this little girl!

September has been eventful to say the least... I look forward to October and Halloween!!!
I love you equally and more than anything!

Sugar OVERLOAD & Sick Boys...

I don't know what has gotten into me but I have been on a serious sugar craving extravaganza! I very rarely have sweets or soda so this is a bit odd... And if I didn't have an IUD I would go buy a pregnancy test haha... #thankgodforbirthcontrol

It all started with the fresh black berries from your Great Grandmother's house and the mini cobblers...
Delicious!!
Then it turned into apple turnovers... YUMMM!
... AND THEN...
Cream cheese filled and fruit filled danishes! FANTASTIC!
Yes... all from scratch with the help of the trusty ol' Kitchen Aid Mixer ;c)
*TOO MUCH SUGAR*
I'm taking a break for while...

You two have been a bit under the weather with fevers and runny noses... You take at least two baths a day to make you feel better....
Another wonderful distraction is Fresh Beat Band on Nick Jr....

It is a love/hate relationship with that show... We have 20+ episodes recorded on the DVR and the first season on Netflix... Shout, Twist, Marina and Kiki have literally taken over the TV in the living room...
I must admit it is super adorable to watch you grin ear-to-ear and dance with along with them...
(Even if I secretly want to make them disappear...)
Sometimes I can get away with the tablet and sneak in one of my shows or a wii dance ;c)
This was a cute picture sent to us from our trip to Seattle... I am usually behind the camera ;c)
-Yes your Momma is getting fit! Size 4 makes me feel happy on the inside... hehe... I am going to start working out again at the gym to get toned and help my overall health... I'm not delusional, I know i'll never 7-minutes abs (6-pack) but i'll try my best!
Don't worry you will get to play in the Kid's Club and i'll only be an intercom away....
Randomly awesome picture of us after 1:00am laughing and watching....
FRESH BEAT BAND!
I sure hope the radio has a contest for their concert coming up...

Other randomness:
- I will finally graduate with my AA this quarter
- You Dad made a spectacular replica of a Carl's Jr Chicken Club....
- I am addicted to MONSTER PARK & ROBINSON (apps on my phone)..
Here is a lovely video from Jenna Marbles...

- I was in a hair cutting mood and chopped my hair into this "scene" style for like a minute...
- I am still on the hunt for the 2GB SD card with Maddox's birthday and our trip to the park with your Dad... While searching I have come across many lost memory cards... Look at this little gem of your parents before twinners..
*Awww*

On that note, LET'S DANCE!

I love you Cash Ryland & Bentley Jax, equally and more than anything!
