!@#$%

Boys, can I give you one piece of advice... NEVER take a logic class... ARGGG.... I have been working my tail off this quarter for a 4.0 but inevitably knew I would be struggling just to pass this philosophy/logic class... The last 8 weeks have been very difficult and the darkness of winter and rain common to the Pacific NW has made it even more so... I love being the SAHM (stay-at-home-mom) doing arts and crafts, indulging in your ever need...  Our years are limited and soon enough I will be working again...This is why we have decided I should take a break from school to focus on your pre-preschool education and overall MOM time;c)

Oh yes, and this happened after I bombed my logic exam Sunday....
Luckily I have insurance but at the moment of discovery I could only lay down on the floor in disbelief... It was that one piece of straw that broke me... Glad I have your Dad to take it in for a new one ;c)
(*DEEP BREATH*)
What have we been up to the last couple weeks besides my overwhelming schooling?!
Still eating delicious meals cooked by your Dad... He even made olive bread that is absolutely scrumptious! Naps were still had... and your hair is getting more wild by the day!
Attitudes were high due to sickness... SNOT funny! (never gets old)
Laughs were also contagious...
Of course I  play with you and make sure you are well taken care of silly boys ;c) I am still your wonderfully loving mom, I could just use more hours in the day... Thanks for being patient little ones, only a few weeks left!

I love you both equally and more than anything!

ps- Never place twins on the same counter-top as your tablet... EVEN if it is just for a second to regain muscle strength...

VDAY 2012

Whew! Midterms over and now I am going to take a moment to document our lovely Valentine's Day 2012!
Breakfast started with some heart toast and bananas...

I thought it was would be fun to make red jello and cut them into heart shapes.... I got a sweet surprise after I poured together the ingredients.. Heart shaped bubbles ;c) Oh and I noticed the magnets on the fridge were love related...  How did I not notice that for the last 3 years? haha
I then got the genius idea to dress up you guys up like little cupids or  as i learned, cherubs....
Josh brought me a dozen beautiful red roses, a heartfelt card, my favorite vodka, Burt's Bees set and bear he won from a crane machine (Hueneka family talent)...
I made little Valentines for you little men with my thumb print...  Oh and you got the little bears but Dad ate your chocolate...
He then cooked up a delicious steak dinner with mashed potatoes, artichoke, grilled onions and salad... YUM!
I had a wonderful evening with my three boys ;c) I am a lucky woman to have such a loving group of guys!

I love you both equally and more than anything!

Seeing Shadows...

Although Phil (The Groundhog) may not be the most accurate in his prediction of the coming of Spring or continuation of Winter, it is still a fun tradition ;c)  Phil did "see" his shadow which means 6 more weeks of Winter... uhhhh... BUT Today was unusually sunny and the two of you spotted your own shadows! It was quite precious and I grabbed my camera instantly to capture the tender moment of discovery...
Bentley is on the left, Cash on the right... Besides remembering who was doing what, it is almost impossible to tell you apart... However, you see that little curl in the shadow on the right-side? THAT is the only difference, Cash has slightly more hair... Of course you have more differences than just the length of your hair, but it takes a keen eye and more than a second to recognize who is who ;c)

Happy Groundhog Day!
Lets hope Phil was wrong about the 6 more weeks of Winter! ;c)
I love you both equally and more than anything!

Missed Days...

I am getting worse at keeping up on this blog as the quarter progresses... Mostly because my philosophy class is a bit time consuming and requires extreme concentration which is improbably during the day while you two are awake (you take one nap for about an hour if i'm lucky)... Not to mention the night class... Thus, another update on our every day excitements...
New clothes means new hangers and another potential weapon... BUT they make you happy, so until you fight or attempt to attack the other, i'll let you have em ;c) *Grandmother came by the other day*
Of course we have been eating delicious dinners your Dad cooks up... This week we have been on a significantly unhealthy fried-food-a-thon... Boneless wings, fried pickles, corndogs, fried cheese sticks, wings... Oh yeah, one night we had steak sandwiches! YUM... I'm shocked I still fit in my jeans... haha

While I am at school Dad provides the entertainment  (those are 3D glasses he took the lenses out of to look like a nerd... love him)... I had your Dad take a picture after I arrived home one night, you two look exhausted and i've seen better days.... but I feel the days are going by too fast  and I want to document as much as possible...

I love you Cash & Bentley, equally and more than anything!

Rockers...

I'll be the first to admit that we have had fewer visists with the Grandmother & nearby family than I would like but the weather has been awful and school has driven me CRAZY! I forgot how hard it was to do homework and be a Mom :c/  Luckily the Grandmother (my mom) stopped by for a visit to deliver a new couple new outfits...

Thanks ;c)

Love you equally and more than anything!
